Refund policy

Effective August 16, 2026

Short version: money only stays with us when the work it pays for happens. Here is every rule, in plain language.

The $50 reservation

The $50 you pay to book a screening call is credited toward your fee in full. It is refunded in full if any of these happen:

  • You decide not to go forward, at any point before you confirm your case.
  • You cancel or move your call at least 24 hours ahead.
  • The Enrolled Agent declines your case.
  • You are offered a different published price after your call and choose not to take it.
  • Your accepted case’s 72-hour confirmation window passes without you confirming. This refund happens automatically.

The only way to lose the $50 is missing your scheduled call twice. The first miss comes with a free rebook.

If the agent declines your case

Everything you have paid is refunded the same day, automatically. You should never pay someone who cannot help you.

If you walk away before acceptance

Everything you have paid is refunded. Acceptance means the Enrolled Agent took your case and you confirmed it.

If your case turns out to be a different kind

If, after a charge, your case needs to move to a different published price and you refuse the change, every dollar you have paid is refunded. No questions.

The guarantee

If we accept your case and don’t deliver the work we scoped, the filings prepared and submitted, the deliverables listed in your engagement, you get a full refund. We can’t and don’t guarantee what the IRS decides. No honest firm can.

How refunds arrive

Refunds go back to your original payment method. We process them within one business day; your bank usually posts them within 5 to 10 business days.

How to ask

Reply to any email we have sent you. A person reads it the same business day.
